A bow knife built for the kind of bread worth slicing carefully. The hardwood frame holds a stainless steel blade under tension, letting the bow do the work. It makes clean cuts through sourdough, boules, and crusty artisan loaves without tearing or compressing. Every knife ships with a protective blade guard.

Ambidextrous Design
Choose left- or right-handed at checkout, and your knife will arrive set up that way. You can still switch it later: back out the screws, move the blade to the opposite set of pre-drilled holes, and retighten, turning each screw a couple of turns at a time until it’s flush. As you tighten, the bow’s tension will pull the blade back to proper cutting tension. Note: the holes in the handle are spaced slightly wider than the holes in the blade to allow for this.

Care
Hand wash and dry immediately after use. Do not soak or put it in the dishwasher. Keep the blade guard on when storing it in a drawer. Oil the wood occasionally with food-safe oil to maintain the finish.
