Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw from the handle.
Gently detach the handle from the black rod.
Pull the black rod out of the cheese slicer base.
Push out the silver pin from the handle to release the old wire.
Replace with the new wire.
Repeat the steps in reverse to reassemble the slicer.
